Pre-Release Preview: The Modern Day Briefcase by Breton Company

Here is something that I have been patiently watching on Kickstarter. This is a company that got their starting idea from attending the world’s largest leather convention. Due to being frustrated with all other briefcases, the founder created the Modern Day Briefcase.

This bag features two leather handles, padded shoulder straps, a laptop sleeve and enough room for pens, business cards, and other gadgets. The briefcase comes in three different colors (navy, gray, and black). Also available in two sizes to accommodate any commuting business professional. The regular size fits a 17” laptop and the small fits a 15” laptop. I am very excited to see something that appears to be quite durable, comfortable, roomy and stylish. Many laptop briefcases out on the market are either way too bulky or are not sized right to hold your laptop and all the cables, mice, tablets and portable drives that most techies love having in their bag. And if they do somehow meet your needs, they look very utilitarian.

The Modern Day Briefcase adds an element of elegance and classiness with the addition of leather made by one of the oldest tanneries in Italy. This compliments the elegance with the durability provided by the leather. And with age, the leather will only keep looking better.

For the exterior of the bag, the inclusion of ten ounce waxed cotton is welcome which provides water resistance and durability. The choice of YKK zippers was amazing because these are some of the most durable zippers on the market today.

Overall I am excited for when the Modern Day Briefcase hits the market. There are 19 days left until the project will be fully funded on April 15, 2016. And already they have reached 290% of their original goal. Hopefully I will be able to bring you more information in the future on this magnificent product.
