Dead or Alive 5: Last Round has been announced by Team Ninja today.
The next instalment in the fighting title will arrive in Spring 2015 for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, both digitally and through retail stores.
It will also be available on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 as a digital release only.
Last Round will feature the largest roster of fighters out of all the Dead or Alive titles, including: Hayabusa, Hayate, Kasumi, Ayane, Rig, Momiji, Leon, Kokro, Tina, Lisa, Brad Wong, Jann Lee, Hitomi, Leifang, Christie, Eliot, Gen Fu, Bayman, Bass, Zack, Helena, Marie Rose, Phase 4, and the newly released Nyotengu.
Akira, Pai, Jacky and Sarah Bryant from the Virtua Fighter series will also be included.
“Dead or Alive 5: Last Round marks an exciting step forward for the franchise, and one that fans have been asking for,” said Yosuke Hayashi, leader of Team Ninja.
“Bringing the game to a new generation of consoles is allowing us to create the most graphically striking version of any Dead or Alive game ever, and we are very happy to give our fans the chance to experience our signature high energy fighting entertainment as only the latest consoles can deliver it.”
The title will also include over 300 open and unlockable costumes, new hairstyles, and new accessories for character customization.
Previously purchased DLC content from Dead or Alive 5: Ultimate will be able to be transferred from last-gen consoles to next-gen consoles.
A teaser trailer was also released, shown above, as well as some screenshots, shown below.
