The Evil Within’s release date has been brought forward yet again, it was announced today.
Back in July, it was announced that the horror title had been brought forward from October 21st to October 14th in America whilst the Europe release was also brought forward to October 17th.
Today, Bethesda revealed that the release date in Europe had been brought forward, now releasing on the same day as it releases in America on October 14th.
Australia’s, New Zealand’s, and Japan’s release dates still remain as they were originally.
After witnessing the deaths of several police officers, Detective Sebastian is attacked by an unknown entity and loses consciousness, eventually waking up in a land where monsters are wandering about. Sebastian has to fight his way through a world of death to understand what’s going on and what lies in the shadows of that mysterious force.
The title will mark the return of Shinji Mikami, creator of the Resident Evil series, to the horror genre, with his Tango Gameworks studio will develop the title.
It will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
