GTA V for next-gen consoles “has a provisional release date”, according to a GAME store in Croydon.
A recent tweet from the official Twitter account of the GAME Croydon store said that they knew of the provisional release date, writing: “We have good news for you PS4 and Xbox One players. GTA [V] has a provisional release date. Want to know when it is? I might tell [you].”
Once they were pressed on the date by Video Gamer, they tweeted back: “November 1st. How exciting! If you haven’t pre-ordered now is the time! This one will fly out of the shop before you know it.”
Rockstar have not made any official announcement regarding its next-gen release and they don’t comment on rumour or speculation.
The store’s comments aren’t the first time that a November release has been rumored.
Back in July, a listing appeared on Game Seek and said that GTA V on next-gen would be released on November 11th.
Announced back in June during E3, the next-gen and PC edition of Rockstar’s record breaking title will feature a new level of detail including: draw distances, finer texture details, denser traffic, and enhanced resolutions.
All content released since the game’s launch last September will be included and players can transfer their GTA Online characters to their choice of PS4, Xbox One, or PC.
A video editor will also be available for the PC edition.
