Titanfall has sold 925,000 copies in the US, EA announced yesterday.
Electronic Arts recently announced (via EuroGamer) its multiplayer action-shooter title, which launched in March, sold 925,000 in the US alone during March.
“It landed phenomenally well,” said Peter Moore, Chief Operating Officer for EA.
“Our goal, quite frankly, is to keep this series as fresh as we do with our [FIFA] Ultimate Team and our Sports [games] and what we’ve done with Battlefield obviously with Premium. Hopefully we can continue to drive this franchise forward.”
The company also announced (via IGN) that they have partnered again with Respawn Entertainment, the developers of the title, for “new Titanfall experiences”.
Andrew Wilson, Chief Executive Officer of EA, said: “Through a new agreement with Vince Zampella and Respawn, we’ll be able to bring new Titanfall experiences to players worldwide.”
No further details were announced.
Titanfall is currently available for Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC
