A video game tie-in for How to Train Your Dragon 2 has been announced by Little Orbit.
The video game publisher yesterday announced that they had entered into a licensing agreement with DreamWorks Animation for a video game tie-in for the upcoming animated movie How to Train Your Dragon 2.
The game, of the same name as the movie, is inspired by the movie and will be launching in June to coincide with the film’s release.
“We’re fortunate to work with DreamWorks Animation on such a treasured franchise,” said Matt Scott, President of Little Orbit.
“The How to Train Your Dragon 2 video game will make a great companion piece to one of the most highly-anticipated films of the summer.”
“The action filled world of Dragons translates beautifully to the video game space. We are thrilled to be working with Little Orbit on creating a soaring, action-packed Dragon experience for young gamers,” said Chris Hewish, Head of Interactive for DreamWorks Animation.
Developed by Torus Games, How to Train Your Dragon 2 the video game will be available for the Xbox 360, 3DS, Wii, Wii U and PlayStation 3.
