The free version of Arma 2 is to be discontinued this time next week, Bohemia Interactive announced today.
Bohemia Interactive, also the developers of the massively popular DayZ, said that Arma 2 Free will “retire” on Tuesday 22nd April having been available to players for almost 3 years now.
The company will be shutting down the Arma 2 Free servers and as a “thank you” to fans, those who order the complete Arma 2 franchise from the Bohemia Interactive store between April 8th and May 4th will receive a 75% discount.
“Bohemia Interactive wish to thank the many thousands of gamers for their interest in Arma 2 Free and look forward to new projects in the future,” the company said in a statement.
