Here’s a bitsize run-down of what happened in movieland this week…
- The Bodyguard star Whitney Houston was found dead last weekend. The cause of the singer’s death is yet to be confirmed.
- Although both have been greenlit, The Rock has revealed that Fast and Furious 6 and 7 will not be shot back to back due to weather issues. The next instalment is expected to land in cinemas in early 2013.
- Alfred Hitchcock’s Suspicion is set to be remade by producer Veena Sud.
- Michael Fassbender’s new project could be Irish Myths, a film rumoured to be battle heavy and impressive… it just needs to find a director.
- Cabin Fever is set to have a prequel. Patient Zero will be set on a cruise ship that unfortuantely happens to crash into a research vessel, unleashing the flesh eating virus. If the film is well recieved a second prequel is set to be put into production.
