New Hitman title in production, details coming in 2018

A new Hitman title is in production, it has been confirmed.

The CEO of developer studio Io-Interactive wrote an open-letter on the studio’s website regarding the launch of Hitman: Game of the Year edition yesterday but also briefly touched on a new Hitman title.

“One last thing about our next Hitman game; I want to let you know that we’re making great progress and we have exciting new features and some franchise firsts, which we can’t wait to tell you all about,” wrote Hakan Abrak, CEO.

“You’ll have to wait a little longer as we don’t plan to start talking about that until some point in 2018.”

No further details were revealed.

The previous Hitman title was a 2016 episodic series released for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.

The full season was released back in January and a Game of the Year edition launched yesterday.
