Video: Team 17 announces Yoku’s Island Express

Team 17 have announced they will be bringing Yoku’s Island Express from Swedish developer Villa Gorilla to Xbox One, Playstation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC next year.

This one has a certain LittleBigPlanet quality about it and there’s nothing wrong with that in my opinion. A charming looking game that has been described as a “pinball platformer” you’ll play as Yoku the Dung Beetle who has arrived on Mokumana Island to relieve the resident pterodactyl postmaster of his duties. Yeah, I know, right?

You’ll have to flip and bump Yoku around the island on a quest to rebuild the post office, discover the mystery of the Fruit Altar, and wake an old god from its deep slumber. I swear, I’m not making this up!
