Video: War for the Planet of the Apes Trailer

The third film in the Planet of the Apes prequel series now has it’s trailer online. War for the Planet of the Apes pushes the story ever closer to the setting of the Charlton Heston original.

After the introduction of the Caesar character, his intelligence developing and forming an Ape colony throughout the previous two films, the next instalment sees the Ape colony under attack from a fearful human military presence headed by Woody Harrelson’s sinister Colonel. As the title suggests an all out war ensues.

Andy Serkis returns as Caesar along with Matt Reeves who directed Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. UK audiences can expect the film July 14th. Check out the trailer above and let us know your thoughts below.
