Marvel Studios have released the first trailer for the second Spider-man reboot, Spider-man: Homecoming. Co-produced by Marvel and Columbia Pictures and distributed by Sony, this will be the first Spider-man movie to tie in with the current Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Helmed by Cop Car (2015) director Jon Watts and starring Tom Holland, who we first saw don the Spidey-suit in Captain America: Civil War, the film is set to feature Michael Keaton as the villain Vulture and Robert Downey Jr will reprise his role as Tony Stark.
Anticipation is high for this one with fans eager to see what Marvel will do with the character, particularly after Sony’s hit and miss reboot. One thing is for sure, we won’t have to deal with another origin story, with Peter Parker already web-swinging his way around New York.
Spider-man: Homecoming opens in UK cinemas July 7th. Check out the trailer above, or for a tiny bit extra footage, the international trailer below, and let us know your thoughts in the comments.
