iPely Tempered Glass Protector for the Nexus 6P

I don’t know about you, but generally, I hate putting on my own screen protector. The thought of having to place it a certain way, cleaning the phone to make sure there aren’t any dusts left under gets me really anxious. Usually for these instances, I would rather take a trip to the nearest brick-and-mortar store like Best Buy to have the Geek Squad put on the screen protector for me (yes, my anxiety for screen protectors are THAT bad). Thankfully for this item by iPely, it was so easy that I did not have to do that.

The iPely screen protector is a tempered glass protector that is rated 9H on the hardness scale (get your mind out of the gutter, folks). This means that the screen protector will ideally be able to protect your phone if you drop it and it lands face down. Though it is not a guarantee, it should be able to absorb the damage enough that your phone’s own screen. Mind you I will not test this by dropping my phone. I have always subscribed to putting on a tempered glass screen protector on all my devices even though I am very careful with my devices.

The box comes with a slew of accessories to make the installation a little easier: 2 wet wipes, a microfiber cleaning cloth, a “dust-absorber” adhesive, as well as the tempered-glass screen protector itself. Installation was simple enough, just clean your phone’s screen with the wet wipe, use the microfiber cleaning cloth to wipe off excess liquid, line up the screen protector to its counterparts, and voila. The screen protector installation process literally took me 5-10 minutes. Simple and effective, just the way I like it.

The good thing about this protector is that it leaves enough room on the edges of your phone that it should not interfere with cases that you want to use. I had this issue with my old screen protector and was stuck using a select few of my cases for that reason. With the iPely Tempered Protector, I am now able to use all of the cases I have bought! This may seem small, but it’s a very big deal for me.
