The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt named Game of the Year at The Game Awards
The Witcher 3 picks up the top prize of the night along with two others whilst Metal Gear Solid V, Rocket League and Splatoon all pick up two awards each.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was last night named Game of the Year at The Game Awards 2015.
The third instalment in the action-fantasy RPG series took home the prized award at last night’s award ceremony in Los Angeles, along with another award for Best Role-Playing Game.
It’s developer, CD Projekt Red, was also awarded Developer of the Year.
It’s not the first time the title has earned awards – the game previously won in four categories including Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards.
In other categories, Rocket League won for Best Independent Game and Best Sports/Racing Game whilst Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain won for Best Score/Soundtrack and Best Action/Adventure Game.
Splatoon also won two awards itself, for Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer.
Lara Croft Go won for Best Mobile/Handheld Game, Her Story won Best Narrative, Life is Strange won Games for Change, Mortal Kombat X won Best Fighting Game, Super Mario Maker won Best Family Game, and Ori and the Blind Forest won for Best Art Direction.
Viva Seifert won Best Performance for her role in Her Story.
