Quantum Break to launch in April 2016

The long-awaited Quantum Break will be released in April 2016, it was revealed today in a new trailer.

Following teases from the Head of Xbox yesterday, Microsoft today unveiled the official release date for the time-travel adventure title as April 5th, 2016.

Remedy’s Xbox One exclusive was originally scheduled to be released later this year but Microsoft announced back in April that the title had been delayed until 2016.

Set in the North Eastern US Riverport University, a time travel experiment goes wrong, which gives Jack Joyce, Beth Wilder and Paul Serene the ability to manipulate time.

Among the cast is Shawn Ashmore (X-Men: Days of Future Past) as Jack Joyce, Dominic Monaghan (Lord of the Rings trilogy) as William Joyce, and Aidan Gillen (Game of Thrones) as Paul Serene.

Quantum Break will be released exclusively for Xbox One.
