Activision today confirmed a new Call of Duty: Black Ops title will be released later this year.
Black Ops III was teased in a video trailer released earlier today (shown above) and it was later confirmed that the action-shooter would be developed by by Treyarch, the studio behind the title’s predecessors Black Ops II and I and also Call of Duty 2 and 3.
A full reveal of the game is scheduled to happen on Sunday, April 26th.

“There’s so much to talk about and I’m sure you all have plenty of questions, but the good news is you won’t have to wait long for answers—the world reveal of Call of Duty: Black Ops III is set for Sunday, April 26, so stay tuned for details.”
The confirmation of the title comes after a week of speculation and teasers from Activision.
