A note to his cast and crew from Star Wars Episode VIIdirector J J Abrams has surfaced online. The note was handwritten on the first day of shooting for the sci-fi sequel, and thanks everybody for their hard work ‘past and future’, urging them to pull together and make us a brilliant film.
The whole note reads:
Dearest cast and crew. What an honor it is to work beside all of you, on Star Wars – Ep VII. I can’t thank you enough, for all work past and future. Let’s take good care, of not just ourselves, but each other. Amazing, but true: the world awaits this film. Let’s give ’em something great.
The seventh Star Wars has just begun shooting, and we can expect it to hit UK screens on December 18th 2015. ‘The world awaits this film’ – that’s for darn sure, JJ. We’re pleased you’re taking this as seriously as we are.
IN OTHER STAR WARS RELATED NEWS: It’s looking like the Boba Fett spin-off (apparently one of many planned Star Wars spin-offs) will be released in 2016. Watch this space.
