The PlayStation 4 has sold more than 7 million copies, Sony have announced.
Sony said via the PlayStation Blog that, as of April 6th, more than 7 million copies have sold worldwide with PS4 software sales also selling more than 20.5 million copies via retail and the PlayStation Store as of April 13th.
Sid Shuman, Social Media Manager for Sony Computer Entertainment America, said: “On behalf of the entire global team at PlayStation, I want to thank you for your unprecedented support and for making PS4 your next-generation console of choice.
“We couldn’t have done this without you! And please keep the feedback coming: we are listening.”
Sony have been dominating the battle of the next-gen consoles with Microsoft’s Xbox One since their launch, also in November.
