Next Tony Hawk game exclusively on mobile devices, says Hawk

The next Tony Hawk video game will be exclusively for mobile devices, Tony Hawk has said.

Last week, during an episode of his Demolition Radio show, legendary skateboarder Tony Hawk said that a new game in the Tony Hawk video game series was in the works.

Activision later confirmed the game was in development and promised more news in the future.

Now during an interview with Bloomberg (via IGN), Hawk continued to talk about the new game saying the next title would be made exclusive to mobile phones and tablets.

He said: “We’re working on a mobile game now. We’re working on a game for mobile devices this year.

“We’ve never gone exclusively in that direction yet so I’m excited because, with the amount of time people are spending on their phones and their tablets playing games, we’ve never had our own game in that space so I’m excited to provide one finally.”

We’ve reached out to Activision for comment – so far, no word back.
