The first trailer for British thriller 6 Days was revealed today starring Jamie Bell and Mark Strong. Directed by Toa Fraser, the film chronicles the events that took place during the Iranian Embassy siege in London, 1980.
In April 1980, six armed gunmen stormed the Iranian Embassy in Princes Gate, London, taking 26 people inside hostage. Over the next six days a tense standoff took place, all the while a group of highly trained soldiers from the SAS prepared for a raid, the likes of which the world had never seen before.
Shot on location in London, in and around Knightsbridge, the screenplay was written by Glenn Standring after extensive research and interviews with individuals who played a part during the incident. 6 Days opens in UK cinemas 4th August 2017.
