Remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City are coming to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Warner Bros. and DC announced today.
Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Arkham Asylum and Arkham City will hit stores from October 21st and will include remastered versions of both titles, as well as all Game of the Year edition bonus and downloadable content ever released.
The games will also boast improved graphics, upgraded models, environments, lighting, effects, and shaders.
Released in 2009 and the first in developer’s Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham series, Arkham Asylum features an original story and classic Batman villains such as Joker, Bane, Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Poison Ivy, and Scarecrow.
The 2011 follow-up, Arkham City, opened the entire Arkham City for players and features other villains such as Mr. Freeze, Penguin, and The Riddler.
