EA has revealed FIFA 17 will feature an all-new story mode, the first to ever be featured in a FIFA game.
The new mode, titled “The Journey”, will allow fans to follow the story of Alex Hunter, a Premier League prospect, who is looking to leave his mark on the league.
“We’re embracing the power of the Frostbite engine to bring a new immersive experience to the franchise and give fans the chance to live their football story through the life of a professional footballer,” said Nick Channon, Senior Producer.
“The Journey delivers that with authenticity, character interactions, and your performance on the pitch which will dictate your story.”
The story mode will introduce new football worlds and new characters as well as a unique story determined through the player’s actions on and off the pitch. 20 Premier League clubs will also be featured through the 2016/17 season.
Several screenshots were also released, as shown below.
FIFA 17 launches on September 29 worldwide for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
