Batman: Arkham Knight has knocked Lego Jurassic World off the number 1 best-seller spot following it’s highly anticipated release last week.
The action-adventure title, which saw development duties handed back to Rocksteady Studios, became the no.1 best selling game after it was released last Tuesday to critical acclaim, and knocked Lego Jurassic World down to the no.2 spot.
It has also became the week one best-seller of the series, beating its predecessors Arkham City and Arkham Asylum.
Despite the critical, fan, and financial success, the title has suffered severe problems with the PC edition.
Last week reports began spreading like wildfire worldwide of PC users experiencing numerous performance issues such as freezing, crashing, frame rates dropping at an incredible rate, amongst other issues.
Currently, out of the 11,938 reviews the title has received on Steam, just 38% are positive whilst the rest have labeled the game as “broken” and “the worst PC port ever released”.
Warner Bros. have since profusely apologised and pulled the game from sale until they have fixed all problems.
Batman: Arkham Knight is currently available for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
