Jacoby Shaddix, frontman of American Rock Band Papa Roach, has teamed up with designer Jeff Henry to create a new clothing line named Lovers Are Lunatics. Jacoby had been working with Jeff on the development of Lovers Are Lunatics over the past year and is involved in all decisions regarding designs to fully immerse himself in the brand and make it an extension of himself. Jacoby’s vision is to create a worldwide clothing brand which will hopefully be sold in stores in the future. Lovers Are Lunatics merchandise is currently available online only.
During an interview with Rock 105.5 Jacoby mentioned how much he loves Papa Roach but wants to ‘do other things outside of Papa Roach’ by launching his new clothing line which he states is a ‘rock inspired street-wear line’. Jacoby has been promoting his clothing line through his Social Media sites and has announced that he is doing a ‘Scavenger hunt’ at each show where he will be taking a package containing Lovers Are Lunatics goodies and signed merchandise and hiding them somewhere near the venue. The lucky fans will be able to find the package by a picture he posts on his Social Media sites with a clue.
Not only has Jacoby been experimenting with his clothing line, but also tried his hand at co-directing his music video for F.E.A.R (Face Everything and Rise) and expressed an interest on co-directing more videos in the future.
Papa Roach are currently on tour promoting their F.E.A.R album which is released on 27th January 2015. Jacoby stated that his eighth studio album F.E.A.R will is one of his ‘most positive’ records which he really ‘dug deep’ on. Papa Roach’s ‘F.E.A.R’ tour begins on 14th January 2015.
