Watch Dogs has officially shipped over 9 million units.
Ubisoft revealed during their earnings report that the hacker thriller shipped 9 million units to retailers since its launch in May.
Upon its release, it received moderate to positive reviews and it became Ubisoft’s biggest release in the company’s history.
Set in Chicago, you play as Aiden Pearce, a hacker and former thug, who’s criminal past lead to a violent family tragedy. Whilst seeking justice for those events, you’ll monitor and hack those around you by manipulating the ctOS from the palm of your hand.
Roobla’s own critic, Liam Tobin, reviewed the game himself, scoring the title a 7.9 out of 10.
The game’s success has lead to the possibility of a sequel, which Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot also hinted at when he said the studio had “great plans for the Watch Dogs franchise”.
It is currently available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
