Resident Evil Revelations 2 has been officially unveiled by Capcom.
During Sony’s pre-TGS PlayStation conference, the company announced (via IGN) that the sequel to the first Revelations would be released in 2015.
Little about the plot is currently known but it is known that is will not include lead characters Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine.
It will be available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC.
Resident Evil Revelations originally launched in 2012 on the Nintendo 3DS and was later ported to PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox 360, and PC in 2013.
Set between Resident Evil 4 and 5, it follows Jill Valentine and her partner Parker Luciani as they are sent to search for Chris Redfield, whose was last known to be onboard a supposedly abandoned cruise ship.
Critically acclaimed worldwide, it has gone on to sell a combined 1.1 million copies.
A concept teaser trailer was also released, as shown above.
