Alien: Isolation pre-order bonus content will feature the voices of the cast from the 1979 original Alien movie.
Sega and 20th Century Fox announced today that Academy Award nominee Sigourney Weaver, who portrayed Ellen Ripley, will provide her likeness and voice along with Tom Skerrit, Veronica Cartwright, Harry Dean Stanton, Yaphet Kotto, and Ian Holm.
The cast will be featured in 2 downloaded bonus missions which relive 2 scenes from the Ridley Scott directed movie.
“Working with the original cast has been an incredible experience,” said Alistair Hope, Creative Lead on Alien: Isolation. “It was important to us to have the key original cast members reprise their roles in order to perfectly capture the atmosphere of the movie.
“For some of the original cast, this is their first appearances in an Alien video game. Seeing them reprise those roles after 35 years was an unforgettable experience.”
For pre-orders in the UK, a free upgrade to the Nostromo Edition, which includes the bonus content Crew Expendable, will be available. Crew Expendable follows players as they play as one of 3 surviving crewmembers, only moments after Brett’s death at the jaws of the creature.
Select retailers will be offering a pre-order incentive where players will receive Last Survivor, where players pick up the story as Ripley tries to escape on the Narcissus.
Announced back in January, Isolation follows Amanda Ripley has to evade the ruthless Xenomorph as it stalks and kills deep in the shadows of a decommissioned trading station in the fringes of space. Players must scavenge for resources to succeed the mission and evade death.
It will be available for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 7th.
Four pre-order content screenshots were also released, as shown below.
