A sequel to Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light has been announced.
Crystal Dynamics yesterday revealed Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris will come to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
As a four-player co-op experience, players will work together to solve puzzles, avoid deadly traps and defeat hordes of enemies from the Egyptian underworld.
“After the immensely positive reaction we received for our debut co-op adventure, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light, we always hoped that we would find time for Lara to return in another classic AA digital arcade title,” said Darrell Gallagher, Head of Product Development and Western Studios for Square Enix, publishers.
“We are excited to expand upon Guardian of Light’s legacy with an entirely new adventure, and challenged ourselves to create fun new ways to play.
“Four-player co-op in Lara’s world combined with Crystal Dynamics high production values are being brought to a new generation of platforms and we are excited for more friends to share in the adventure together.”
Whilst no release date or window was announced, a trailer was released, shown above, as well as two artworks, shown below.
A sequel to Crystal Dynamics 2013’s Tomb Raider reboot was also revealed yesterday.
