Sony have refused to comment on whether The Last of Us is to be released on the PS4.
Earlier today it was reported that the critically acclaimed survival-thriller was to be ported to the PlayStation 4 this summer after PlayStation’s Eurasian Software Market Manager, Sercan Sulun, was recently interviewed for Turkish CNN and he confirmed the news.
He also revealed that all of the game’s DLC content would be ported too, including the story-DLC Left Behind.
We reached out to Sony for comment but our emails went unanswered.
The statement read: “At no time have we announced that The Last of Us is coming to PS4 and therefore, have nothing to say on the subject.”
The Last of Us launched in May 2013 to worldwide critical acclaim for its emotional story and immersive environments, recently selling over 6 million copies. It has gone on to win 8 Game of the Year awards.
