[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ockstar Games are currently investigating several issues gamers are experiencing with the release of the long awaited Grand Theft Auto Online.
Since its launch on Tuesday many players have complained about experiencing several issues with the new online concept, including freezing and several error messages popping up.
Among the issues reported on Rockstar’s Support website are occasional “Rockstar Cloud Servers Unavailable” error messages, freezing sometimes while loading into first race with “Waiting for other players” on the screen, intermittent “Failed to Host a GTA Online Session” error messages and the first race marker not appearing once starting a race.
Rockstar have apologised for the inconvenience and are currently investigating the issues. They have promised to keep updating their support page throughout the coming days.
GTA Online is set prior to the single player campaign and is accessed by the character wheel. Players will have the ability to create their own character and also help add new content to the game’s world by creating their own jobs, such as deathmatches, races, etc through the game’s content creator releasing this autumn.
Rockstar have also promised that the GTA Online experience will be “built-upon, to grow and to evolve in many ways in the coming weeks, months and beyond”.
“As part of that, there will be a massive amount of jobs available to play over time as we will be regularly adding new ones for you to enjoy,” Rockstar said on their website.
GTA V was released on September 17th to widespread critical acclaim and broke $1 billion in just three days.
