Here’s a run-down of the week’s biggest movie news…
- Despite our report last week, the 24 movie looks like it will still be in limbo for a while yet thanks to Kiefer Sutherland’s new TV show Touch. The film, which is rumoured to be the first in a trilogy, is waiting to see if Touch gets a second series.
- Sin City could start filming this summer.
- The Hunger Games had an additional seven seconds cut from the final film to ensure its 12A rating.
- Warner Bros. could be bringing Stephen King’s Dark Tower series to cinematic life, with Ron Howard in the director chair. Universal dropped the project last year, so don’t get your hopes up just yet…
- There’s set to be a new Garbage Pail Kids movie. Didn’t see the 80’s original? Perhaps it’s for the best.
- And finally, there’s a trailer for the latest Rec installment, Rec: Genesis… Watch it below!
