This week in movieland…
- Ricky Gervais is set to attach himself to the Golden Globes again. Although it’s reported he wont host the awards show he has spoken of plans to run a live commentary online to amuse fans.
- Zoolander 2 is looking more and more likely. Rumours have spread and the film will supposedly be set a decade on from the original, with Hansel having suffered a disasterous injury.
- Werner Herzog will swap his director’s seat for a role in front of the camera for the Tom Cruise-starring Jack Reacher-featuring One Shot.
- Blake Lively has become the latest actress to turn down the lead role in Pride and Prejudice and Zombies, joining the likes of Natalie Portman and Emma Stone who have also turned down the zombie-slaying part.
- Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky is set to helm a biblical project that charts Noah’s life.
- David Cronenberg is apparently in talks to make a sequel of sorts to 80’s classic The Fly. We’re pretty sure we saw this coming. Are no 80’s films safe?!
