This month will finally see the release of a few games that have had their release day pushed back, including fan favourite Hollow Knight. We will also see the release of some major announcements from this year’s E3 with the likes of Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
God Eater 3
Release: 12th July
Platform: Switch
Return to the universe of God Eater with the third instalment of the hack and slash monster slaying series. Wielding a God Arc, join the Fenrir Organisation, an elite monster slaying force, and take on hordes of monsters known as the Aragami. Featuring new maps, monsters, and weapons, God Eater 3 is the first in the series to be imagined and conceived for the newest generation of home consoles and can be played cooperatively with up to eight players.
Dragon Quest Builders 2
Release: 12th July
Platform: PlayStation 4, Switch
Dragon Quest’s block-building RPG is back with a brand new charming single player campaign and a robust multiplayer building mode that supports up to four players.
After washing up on the shores of a deserted island, you encounter Malroth, a mysterious youth with no memory of his past. With the help of your new friend, you embark on an adventure to gather the skills required to become a full-fledged builder and defeat the evil Children of Hargon, who are determined to eradicate all creators and have outlawed the building, cooking, and creation of all things.
Hollow Knight

Beneath the fading town of Dirtmouth sleeps an ancient, forgotten kingdom. Many are drawn beneath the surface searching for riches, glory, and answers to old secrets. As the mysterious Hollow Knight, you’ll traverse the depths, unravel its mysteries and conquer its evils. Hollow Knight is an epic 2D action-adventure where you will explore twisting caverns, battle tainted creatures and escape intricate traps, all to solve an ancient long-hidden mystery.
Redeemer Enhanced Edition
Release: 19th July
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch
Redeemer is a top-down action game where you will hack and slash your way through hordes of enemies using your fists, hammers, fire arms, and the environment.
You play as Vasily, an elite operative who once worked for one of the biggest arms industry corporations in the world. Officially working in security, you were tasked with infiltration, assassination, extortion and, even torture, but when the cooperation decided your services were no longer needed, you narrowly manage to escape your own death sentence. For 20 years Vasily has tried to find peace and harmony, but is still too haunted by his murderous past to find either. Now after all of these years the corporation is finally closing-in on his location, and have given Vasily one last shot at redemption.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3
Release: 19th July

Assemble your own ultimate team of Marvel Superheroes from a huge cast including the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, and more! Team up with friends to prevent galactic devastation at the hands of tyrant Thanos and his ruthless warmasters, The Black Order. You can then expand your team even more with an upcoming DLC which will include content from franchises like the Fantastic Four and Marvel Knights.
Wolfenstein: Youngblood
Release: 26th July
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, PC
Set two decades after the events of Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, you will play as the twin daughters of BJ Blazkowicz in an alternate timeline where Nazi Germany won the war. After travelling to Paris to rescue their father, Jess and Soph Blazkowicz find themselves part of the French Resistance trying to liberate the country.
Kill La Kill: If

From the makers of Dragonball FighterZ and the original writer of the Kill La Kill anime, Kazuki Nakashima, comes a brand-new fighting action game. Watch the new untold Kill La Kill story of ‘if’s’ play out and experience the hot-blooded action from the original anime series.
Fire Emblem: Three Houses
Release: 26th July
Platform: Switch
The story of Fire Emblem: Three Houses takes place at the Officer’s Academy, an elite military academy that trains Fódlan’s three noble houses, the Black Eagles, the Blue Lions, and the Golden Deer. Playing as a professor of the academy, your customisable character will lead a band of students and train them into warriors. With turn-based combat, you will be faced with life-or-death stakes as you take on the battlefield. When you’re not in battle, in true Fire Emblem fashion, you will spend your time exploring the academy and forming relationships with students, which will in turn improve their combat ability.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden
Release: 30th July
Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a tactical adventure game that combines turn-based combat with real-time exploration, story, stealth, and strategy. Explore a post-apocalyptic Earth where mankind has been eradicated by climate change, nuclear war, and global pandemics.
