A sequel to The Evil Within was unveiled last night, with the game set to hit shelves this October.
The Evil Within 2, developed by Shinji Mikami and his team at Tango Gameworks, the sequel to the psychological survival horror title will be released on 13th October.
Series protagonist Detective Sebastian Castellanos returns and sees him enter a world filled with nightmares and discover the dark origins of a once-idyllic town in order to save his daughter and his own life.
Players will get to decide how they approach the game, choosing to attack from the shadows, go in guns blazing, or “run like hell”.
Several screenshots from the title were also released, as shown below, as well as the first trailer, shown above.
The Evil Within 2 will be available for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
