Middle-earth: Shadow of War has been pushed back until October, its development team announced earlier today.
Writing on the game’s official Facebook page, the team revealed that its planned release on August 25th would be pushed back until October 10th.
“Middle-earth: Shadow of War expands gameplay in every dimension, including the massive open world, the story, the RPG systems, and personal player stories of the Nemesis System,” read the statement.
“As with Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Monolith is committed to delivering the highest quality experience. In order to do this, we have made the difficult decision to move our launch date to ensure that [the game] will deliver on that promise.”
Set between the events of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an open-world action RPG that continues the original narrative of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
The game will feature iconic locations, more personalities and a new cast of characters.
An open world trailer was released a few weeks ago, as shown above.
