505 games have announced Redout will be coming to consoles. A tribute to classic anti-gravity racing games, it prides itself on its sharp low-polygon style with the latest state-of-the-art shading and lighting effects. The floating system and driving models are based on an advanced physics model meaning each turn, slope, hard braking and acceleration will apply a unique force to the ship.
Already available on PC via Steam, PS4 and Xbox One players will be able to purchase an exclusive and enriched version, Redout: Lightspeed Edition which will include the brand new “split screen” mode, plus the “Europa” and “Neptune” DLC. Other updated features on console are a career mode, upgradable ships, 11 different event types and upgradable power ups.
Redout will be available from 31st August 2017. Check out the trailer above and let us know your thoughts below.
