Nintendo began their E3 press conference by unveiling a new trailer for their new Star Fox game, titled Star Fox Zero.
Due for release during the holidays, the newest Star Fox instalment stays true to its third-person space shooting predecessors, but with some added extras.
New vehicles will be added to the mix, as well as the tried and tested Arwing and Landmaster tank, players will be able to control and pilot a small mech walker originally seen in the unreleased Star Fox 2, and a ‘gyro wing’, which bears a resemblance to a drone.
The title, showcased at this year’s E3, did not specify an actual date, but was said to be in early development.
It will be available on Nintendo’s Wii U console.
Several screenshots are available below as well as the trailer, shown above.
