Batman: Arkham Knight is to be released in February 2015, according to a listing on Microsoft’s online store.
Yesterday a listing was found on Microsoft’s online store, found via a Neo GAF forum user, advertising Rocksteady Studios’ upcoming final installment of the Batman: Arkham series for a release on February 24th, 2015.
As of this writing, the listing is still up on the website.
Last week the game’s lead actor, Kevin Conroy, said that the game was to be released this coming January.
Scheduled for a release in October 2014 when first revealed back in March, the game was delayed earlier this month until 2015.
Arkham Knight takes place one year following the events of Rocksteady’s 2011 installment, Arkham City, as Batman faces the ultimate threat against the city he is sworn to protect when The Scarecrow returns to unite an impressive roster of super villains to destroy The Dark Knight forever.
It will feature classic Batman villains such as Penguin, Two-Face, Harley Quinn, and the all-new villain, The Arkham Knight.
For the first time in the series, the Batmobile will be a core element of the game with an entire new area of Gotham City.
A five minute gameplay trailer was released during Sony’ E3 conference two weeks ago.
Arkham Knight will be released on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
