Examiner.com is reporting that Ubisoft is planning for two new Assassin’s Creed titles in 2014 for both current generation consoles and next generation consoles. The report cities sources familiar with the projects.
According to the sources, the fantasy action adventure series is under a “massive re-scope”. No further information could be provided.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag was the latest instalment in the franchise and it launched October for current-fen consoles and again in November for next-gen consoles. It was critically acclaimed for its graphics and gameplay and was nominated for many Game of the Year awards. It was recently voted as Best Xbox One and PS4 Game by Gamespot and won the Best Action-Adventure Game at the Spike TV VGX Awards earlier this month.
