[dropcap]W[/dropcap]arner Bros Interactive have announced that Injustice: Gods Among Us will be releasing on a variety of consoles next month.
It’s been confirmed that the game – originally released back in April – will be re-released as a special “Ultimate Edition” on the PS4, PS Vita and PC. It will also be available on current generation platforms for the PS3 and Xbox 360.
A release for Xbox One was not announced. Eurogamer.net reported that Nether Realm Studios chief Ed Boon wrote a series of cryptic tweets that possibly suggest the game won’t be releasing on the Xbox One console at all.
Responding to a tweet from a fan pleading for the game to release on Xbox One, he replied: “Um… I wouldn’t sell that 360 copy…”
He later also replied to a fan who asked him why he wouldn’t release it on the console when the game, he says, sold the most on Xbox. Boon said: “Again… not as simple as that.”
The game – which launches on November 29th – will include all its original content but will feature all the DLC which includes playable characters like Lobo, Batgirl, General Zod and Mortal Kombat’s Scorpion.
There’s also over 40 new character skins and 60 S.T.A.R Labs Missions.
