Bandai Namco Games Europe have signed a worldwide distribution deal with Slightly Mad Studios for their upcoming racing title.
Bandai will distribute the studio’s Project CARS, an authentic “technically-advanced” racing game, which was crowd-funded.
“We are tremendously happy to be collaborating with Slightly Mad Studios on this promising title, in which community expectations are fusing with racers expertise to craft the next generation of simulation,” said Alberto Gonzalez Lorca, Vice President of Third Parties for Bandai.
The title will see players create a driver, pick from a variety of motorsports, and complete a number of goals before earning a Hall of Fame induction.
It will also feature the largest selection of tracks than any other racing title, a dynamic time of day and weather system, advanced graphics and handling, and deep tuning & pit stop functionality.
Support for Oculus Rift and Project Morpheus is also included.
“With a portfolio of prestigious, popular, and iconic titles under their wing, Bandai Namco are the perfect partners to bring our pioneering community-driven games to players around the world,” said Ian Bell, Head of Studio for Slightly Mad.
Project CARS will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Wii U and PC in November.
