Top acts such as Kanye West, Bruno Mars, Outkast, Drake and Pharrell Williams have been confirmed to take to the stage at the 2014 Wireless Festival.
Following from the incredible Jay Z/Justin Timberlake tag team line up last year, the festival organisers have ensured the festival will be a hit with fans once again thanks to a stellar line up.
To celebrate the tenth year of the festival, Wireless will take place for the very first time at London’s Finsbury Park; as well as venturing out to Birmingham’s Perry Park.
Kanye West will be expected to bring his Yeezus set to London on Friday July 4 with support from Grammy winner Pharrell Williams, Basement Jaxx, Iggy Azalea, Ella Eyre and Angel Haze.
While on Saturday July 5, Nothing Was The Same rapper Drake returns to headline the festival with specials guests Rudimental as well as Wiz Khalifa, Azelea Banks, Pretty Lights, Chance The Rapper, A$AP Ferg and Earl Sweatshirt.
Then the show will end off with bang on Sunday July 6 as Bruno Mars will have support from the newly reunited Outkast, Ellie Goulding, Clean Bandit, John Newman, Salt N Pepa and Neon Jungle.
As ever, the festival is set to be the place to be for urban music lovers this festival season and I personally cannot wait to see Outkast return to the stage.
The choice to follow the lead of festival such as V Festival and hold the festival across too locations is sure to pay off for organisers with such a stellar lineup involved so I’m sure this will launch Wireless to continue to get bigger and better over the next ten years.
Tickets for Wireless Festival go on sale this Friday (January 31) at 9am and are priced at £65 plus booking fee, available at www.wirelessfestival.co.uk
