[dropcap]W[/dropcap]hile she spent most of 2013 using highly successful shock tactics to get the world talking about her music, Miley Cyrus has chosen to let her vocals take the lead.
The Wrecking Ball singer unveiled the acoustic version of her new single, Adore You, and it’s pretty nice to just hear Miley sing her heart out without any ‘twerktastic’ distractions in the way.
The track is the third single from her Number One album, Bangerz, and we can’t help but wonder if this stripped-back rendition is a sign that Miley wants her voice to be the star in this year.
However, the risque official music video for the song, which sees Miley rolling around in bed while touching herself, makes us doubt it. Either way it’s nice to see her strip down through music rather than her clothing.
The song is available to download worldwide currently sits at number 22 in America and 61 on the official UK chart, but we’re sure the next few weeks will see it reach similar success as her previous hits We Can’t Stop and Wrecking Ball.
While some fans might be wondering if Miley might be singing the track to her rumoured new beau Kellan Lutz, the Twilight actor recently denied reports that the pair are dating.
Speaking on Ryan Seacrest’s KISS FM radio show, Kellan said: “It just makes me laugh. I’ve been friends with Miley for like six years. She’s a great girl… We are friends and run in the same circle.”
What are your thoughts on Miley’s acoustic rendition?
