Take a look at what the video game industry has in store for us in November. With plenty of big and long-awaited titles being released, we’ll have plenty to keep us occupied through the long winter months.

 

 HITMAN 2

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Release: 13th November

The seventh instalment in IO Interactive’s Hitman series takes place after the events of 2016’s Hitman. As usual, the game takes you all across the world as Agent 47 eliminates high profile targets.  Each of the six missions are set in distinct locations including Miami, Colombia, New Zealand, Mumbai, Vermont, and the secretive Isle of Sgàil, located in the North Atlantic.

Hitman 2 introduces Sniper Assassin, a brand-new multiplayer mode that has you using a sniper rifle to eliminate targets within a time limit. This mode also gives you the chance to play as Knight and Stone who each have their own unique ammo types. As with its predecessor, Hitman 2 will also feature the limited time Elusive Targets missions with Sean Bean portraying the first target.

Hitman 2 will be released on 13th November on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

 

SPYRO REIGNITED TRILOGY

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Release: 13th November

The long awaited remastered Spyro trilogy is almost upon us. The Reignited Trilogy features the three original games from the series: Spyro the DragonSpyro 2: Ripto’s Rage!, and Spyro: Year of the Dragon, all with enhanced HD graphics.

The new enhanced trilogy will stay true to the original with layouts of each level remining the same including the location of enemies and items

The Spyro Reignited Trilogy will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox one on 13th November.

 

FALLOUT 76

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC

Release: 14th November

25 years after the nuclear-war caused devastation in the United States, Vault 76 is finally ready to open. Tasked with rebuilding society, you must emerge into the post-nuclear lands of West Virginia and explore the biggest and most dynamic Fallout map to date.

Fallout 76 will be the first multiplayer game in the series and will allow you to team up with three other people as you take on the nuclear wasteland. Fallout 76 will also be the first in the series that will feature a nuclear bomb as a weapon.

The Beta of the game is already available for some players and the full game will be released on 14th November on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

 

POKÉMON: LET’S GO!

Platform: 16th November

Release: Switch

The much beloved Pokémon series is finally making its way to Switch. In an enhanced remake of Pokémon Yellow, players will return to the Kanto region and start an epic Pokémon adventure accompanied by either Pikachu or Eevee.

Pokémon: Let’s Go! will include all the original 151 Pokémon in addition to their Mega Evolved forms from Pokémon X and Y (2013) and Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire (2014), and their Alolan Forms from Sun and Moon (2016).

The new Pokémon brings with it a new type of co-operative play. Previous games have included online features that allowed you battle and trade online, but now you can explore the region, catch Pokémon, and battle with a friend.

Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikcahu! and Let’s Go Eevee! will be released on 16th November exclusively on Nintendo Switch.

 

BATTLEFIELD V

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC

Release: 20th November

Battlefield V is the 16th instalment into DICE’s Battlefield series and will feature a campaign based upon World War II. The game will feature several new multiplayer modes including Grand Operations and Firestorm.

Grand Operations is an expansion of the Operations mode from Battlefield 1 (2016), which focuses on matches taking place across multiple stages. In Grand Operations, each round will have specific objectives, and performance in each stage will influence the next. Games will end with a Final Stand that has players using only primary weapons with limited ammo, and no respawns.

Firestorm is Battlefield V’s take on the ever-popular battle royale. Playing as one of 64 players within 16 squads, you will battle it out on the biggest Battlefield map to date as a deadly ring of fire slowly shrinks the battlefield.

Battlefield V will be released on 20th November on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

 

DARKSIDERS III

Platform: PlayStation 4, Xbox One

Release: 27th November

Return to an apocalyptic Earth in Darksiders III and take on the role of Fury in her quest to hunt down and dispose of the Seven Deadly Sins in classic hack and slash fashion.

The third instalment in the Darksiders series will feature stronger enemies than those in previous games and will take place in a continuous open world environment where exploration plays a large role. Fury must solve puzzles and overcome new platforming obstacles that make use of her weapons, abilities, and elemental forms.

Darksiders III will be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 27th November.
