Airtight Games have confirmed their closure, tweeting their thanks to their fans.
Yesterday a report surfaced on Geek Wire that the developers of the recently released Murdered: Soul Suspect had quietly closed its offices in Redmond, Washington.
Their office equipment was being sold whilst a notice was pinned to the front entrance.
No official confirmation of the closure had been made but late last night Airtight finally confirmed the closure of the studio via their Twitter account.
“Thanks to all of the fans, family, friends and colleagues who supported us and made the last 10 years possible,” one tweet read.
Another read: “Thanks to all of the amazing people that worked on Dark Void, Quantum Conundrum, Murdered, Soul Fjord, Pixld, and DerpBike.”
Their most recent project, Murdered: Soul Suspect, released just over a month ago for next-gen, current-gen consoles and PC.
It received a lukewarm response from critics. No sales information has yet been provided.
Earlier this year Airtight underwent “necessary restructuring”, laying off 14 staff members.
