The Sims 4 is to be released in September, EA announced yesterday.

During E3, the company revealed the next installment in The Sims series will be released on September 2nd in North America for PC.

It will be available on Friday, September 5th in Europe.

The title will feature reinvented smarter Sims with new creative tools and an all-new Gallery, which enables players to access other user-generated content.

“On September 5th, our fans will be able to experience why we believe The Sims 4 is the best life simulation game ever,” said Rachel Franklin, Vice President and Executive Producer.

“These are brand new Sims whose traits, emotions and aspirations combine to define more meaningful personalities than you’ve ever played with before. You decide not only what they look like, but more importantly, who they are.

“The combination of these new Sims, our powerful new creative tools, and the all-new Gallery add up to the best game we’ve ever made.”

For those who pre-order the title, you’ll receive a Limited Edition copy, which includes the Life of the Party Digital Content.
