A new free-to-play Tony Hawk game has been revealed.

A mobile-exclusive, Tony Hawk’s Shred Session was recently revealed by Touch Arcade in a special preview of the game.

The preview revealed that the game will be a 3D endless runner, similar to Temple Run’s style, as the player swipes the screen to perform tricks.

Two modes will be available including Survival, where the player must perform a string of tricks, and Shred Sessions, which players must complete a set of objectives inspired by previous Tony Hawk titles, such as collecting “SKATE”.

The game, which soft-launches in the next few weeks, also features five locations including levels set in a warehouse, Santa Monica, the Docks, Storm Drain, and South Bank.

Five playable skaters include Tony Hawk himself, Riley Hawk, the son of Tony Hawk, Lizzie Armanto, Chris Cole, Aaron “Jaws” Homoki and David Gonzalez.

Shred Sessions will have a full launch this summer.
