Rugby 15 coming to next gen consoles in Autumn

Rugby 15, the first rugby title on next generation consoles, is coming this Autumn.

The very first rugby game for next gen consoles will be released this Autumn, its publisher announced today.

Bigben Interactive announced that Rugby 15 will be hitting both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 in Autumn whilst copies for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PS Vita and PC will also be available.

Developed in collaboration with HB Studios, Bigben say that Rugby 15 aims to become “the new standard for rugby games”.

Official licenses for the TOP 14 and PRO D2 professional rugby leagues will be included in the title.

“With this new sport simulation we are pursuing our strategy of moving upmarket with strong licences and quality partnerships, as with HB Studios,” said Alain Falc, CEO of Bigben Interactive.

“Today it gives us great pleasure to announce the very first rugby game on new generation consoles with the TOP 14 and the PRO D2, thanks to the support of the Ligue Nationale de Rugby (French Rugby Association). We are certain that fans of the sport will enjoy it!”

Teams from the 2014/2015 rugby season will also be included.
