Mad Max has been delayed until 2015, a new trailer revealed today.

A teaser trailer for the upcoming post-apocalyptic vehicular combat title revealed that the title, originally aimed at a 2014 release, has been pushed back a year.

No explanation for the delay was given in an accompanied press release.

Developed by Avalanche Studios, players follow Mad Max, a lone warrior who must fight to stay alive in The Wasteland. Following the theft of his iconic Interceptor, Max must align himself with a  gifted, but peculiar, mechanic named Chumbucket and others to build the ultimate war vehicle and escape the Wasteland.

The game, published by Warner Brothers Interactive Entertainment, is based on the Mad Max film series.

An extended cut of the above trailer is available via PlayStation’s YouTube page.
