The former music composer for Halo has settled his lawsuit with Bungie.
Last month, Martin O’Donnellfiled a lawsuit in King County, Washington against the original Halo developers Bungie for allegedly unpaid benefits.
O’Donnell claimed the company failed to pay him for unused vacation time, paid time off, sabbatical time and other benefits following his departure from the studio in April.
He claimed that Bungie president Harold Ryan promised him that he would be paid all of what he was owed.
Bungie responded by filing an answer document denying all accusations.
According to Venture Beat, O’Donnell has now settled with Bungie for just slightly more than $95,000 – $38,385 for unpaid work and vacation time, $38,385 for double damages, plus attorney fees and interest, coming to a total of $95,019.13.
Employed in 2000 as an Audio Director, O’Donnell was the composer for the Halo series up until Bungie’s final installment in the series, 2010’s Halo: Reach, with development then moving over to 343 Industries.
Bungie are also the developers of the upcoming MMO action-shooter Destiny, set for release on September 9th.
It will be available for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One.
